This place is charming! The pictures don’t do it justice. Im in the Cowboy Room. It’s very spacious. Two beds, a full size futon, a sit down table, huge window. The AC cranks out like arctic wind if that’s what you desire. And I do desire that so I really appreciate it! The owners are so friendly and gracious. There’s an ice machine, microwaves, and even a pizza oven for the guests to use. Plenty of outdoor seating to relax in. I guarantee that anyone would enjoy staying here. It’s extremely clean, comfy, and secure. This is what Wisconsin is about. I wish I could stay longer
I came in for a wedding and stayed one night. I had my worries being a motel, but it was recommended, so I took a gamble. It was close to the venue, and I didn't want to travel in the dark, so I figured I'd make it work. From the moment I walked in to check out to when I left the day after, I was wowed. Great service and so so very friendly. I got a tour of the place when I arrived since it was my first time staying there. The room felt like a hotel, but walking through the hallway, I felt like I was home. It was cozy and homey. The amenities they offered are nothing you would expect at a motel especially the breakfast or the little snacks they provide. The breakfast is nothing fancy. No hot food but the spread of other items offered a great selection to pick from, and even the drinks they offer. All included in the already low price you pay to stay. I was so so so impressed. I have been telling everyone and hands down, plan to stay again when I visit my family/friends in Suring Wisconsin. The travel is so convenient. This place is truly a hidden gem.
If you stay anywhere else you're a fool. I stayed here once maybe 15 years ago and had car trouble. The owner lent me his own car to drive to Shawano to buy a part to repair it. That was awesome and I'm clearly still telling the story. I stayed here again 11 days ago. On Saturday morning my son was injured in a crash and after going to urgent care we left abruptly. We were given a refund for Saturday night even though we left late in the day. This morning the phone charger I left in my room arrived in the mail. These people are awesome humans. Please support them.
Nice, quiet, clean, comfortable and unique atmosphere. Reasonable price. Very friendly owners. Beds were a little firm for my tastes, but slept very well in spite of that. Hallways were lined with interesting nostalgic items, books, quilts, clocks, etc. Has a bed & breakfast feel but with standard hotel rooms. Owners made us feel like we were guests in their home (really we were) but with full autonomy. Nice spread of home cooked bakeries and fruit for breakfast along with fruit, candy and snacks available for the taking throughout the day. Also has a nice DVD and VHS library available to guests for free. Playground for kids. Definitely will be staying here again for future winter visits to the area.
An incredible eye for detail makes the quaint stay feel just like home. On top of pastry breakfast items, she had home made desserts and they were incredible! Wouldn't hesitate to send a friend here and I'll definitely be back!
I have stayed many times at this fine motel Carol and Bob are exceptional people and will always do whatever they can to make sure your stay is as good as it can be! Always exceptionally clean and comfy!
What a great place! The hostess was EXCELLENT! I am an early riser and she had coffee all made and beautiful pastries out early! Definitely will stay here again whether it is in the hotel or campground :) Thank you for everything!
If you need an awesome quiet getaway while traveling through Northern Wisconsin this is the place. The 2 bedroom suite with living room, full bath, and kitchen, was perfect for me, my Girlfriend and 2 of my kids for a weeks stay. The owner and workers were amazing, they were friendly and helpful with all our needs. The ONLY negative we had was the TV situation. It was antenna and the signal was not very good. They did however have a DVD and VHS player in the room with hundreds of movie in the hallway to choose from. They also have WiFi and we bought a Roku which filled in the time. There are so many more things we could praise this place for but we'll let you experience it for yourself. Every time we visit this area this will be our "Go to" place to stay.
